History

Nando's Hot Peri-Peri Sauce has its roots in the Afro-Portuguese cuisine of Mozambique, where the peri-peri chilli pepper is native. The sauce gained popularity in South Africa during the 80s when a couple founded Nando’s to bring the vibrant flavours of peri-peri to a broader audience.

Ingredients: Water, Distilled Vinegar, Lemon Puree (6%), Onion Puree (6%), Salt, Spices (Cayenne Pepper, African Bird's Eye Chilli, Paprika), Green Chilli, Sunflower Seed Oil, Garlic Puree, Stabilisers (Xanthan Gum, Propylene Glycol Alginate), Antioxidant (Ascorbic Acid), Rosemary Extract.
